Ofuz was started with the idea of being an open source project.

The developers that created Ofuz are from SQLFusion and have been advocating and supporting open source software for 15 years now. You could say that open source is in our blood.

We have been serving small businesses for years but we found a hole regarding open source software availability for small business. There are great ERP or CRM for medium sized businesses but no out "of the box" open source software solutions for all the day-to-day tasks of a small business.

So we decided to fill that need and create a base for the community to build on.

Today we are almost ready and have opened Ofuz 0.5.7 in a public beta so that everybody can tell us how we're doing so far.

We are actively working on the Open Source web site and release for download. It should now be ready in a few weeks.
