Unable to Upload image for use in invoices

When uploading an image to use on invoices, the image does not get transferred to /files folder
looking at the error log for the domain

[warn] [client ***.***.***.***] mod_fcgid: stderr: PHP Warning: move_uploaded_file(): Unable to move

any idea how to solve this?

its seems related to your php ini take a look at your temp folder and the /files folder are writable by the web server or cgi user.

Just looked at them again I was sure that they both where 777
but the files was only 755
so I've have changed the permission on this folder and this now works OK

just as a side not the PDF page generator doesn't like png files with alpha transparency
